Titan is the codename of the new MMO project by Blizzard. According to their own expectations, Titan might potentially grow bigger than World of Warcraft with its 12 million subscribers.

Titan is already playable (Blizzard-only obviously) but will not hit the stores before the fourth quarter of 2013. According to Blizzard's executives, the game is a lot of fun and has the potential to outgrow World of Warcraft, without WoW losing its playerbase. He assures us that they will keep developing and supporting Warcraft for many years to come.
The best, brightest and most talented and experienced minds are working on the new MMO, but it remains yet unclear what sort of genre the game will be. There has been rumors it will be a massive-multiplayer first-person shooter like a next generation Halo, but personally I can't imagine how that could attract more players than Warcraft. First and foremost, Titan will be a multiplayer game with many social aspects including guilds.
Blizzard said they have learned important lessons during the years that World of Warcraft has been running, and will address these in Titan. Yet, Titan will not be a sequel to Warcraft; the two games will co-exist.
I will be updating this post as I find out more.
