Useful Enhancement Shaman Macros

I stopped raiding actively, but these World of Warcraft macros could still help enhancement shamans. The first macro is even useful for any healing class.

All-you-ever-need healing macro:

    #showtooltip
    /cast [target=mouseover,help][help] [target=targettarget, help] 
      [target=player] Greater Healing Wave

This heal is instant with 5 stacks Maelstrom and heals (in this order) a mouseover target, a targeted friendly unit (player or npc), an evil target's friendly target or yourself.
Replace 'Greater Healing Wave' with the spell of your choice and make sure the 'cast ..' line is on 1 line and not on 2 as it may suggest above.

Keybindings are very personal, but I have always been used to using the [1][2][3][4].. and [Q][W][E][A][S][D] keys with my left hand and the mouse with my right hand. I use the mouse to turn because keyboard-turning is just too slow and not even very precise at that. But this is entirely up to your own personal taste and habit. On [1] I have Unleash and Totems:

What this does is Unleash Elements as default action, and Call of the Elements (puts down your first totem set) whe your press a modifier key. As modifier I always use [Alt] as my thumb hovers right over it when I have my fingers on [1][2][3], but Control also works (unless you mapped it to something else). The '#showtooltip' bit sets the appropriate spell as icon for the macro. If you press your modifier key, the icon also changes.

On [2], I have Stormstrike and Purge:

    /cast [modifier] Purge
    /cast [nomodifier] Berserking
    /use [nomodifier] Unsolvable Riddle
    /script UIErrorsFrame:Clear();
    /cast [nomodifier] Stormstrike

Since I'm lazy, I usually just blow everything as soon as it's off cooldown, in the macro above, that's my racial (troll's Berserking) and trinket. The line after that gets rid of any error messages it might have triggered if either was on cooldown or even absent. Finally I cast Stormstrike and start attacking if I hadn't done so yet. With modifier key ([Alt] in my case), I attempt to Purge my target.

On [3] are my Shocks and interrupt:

Since my Shock's cooldown is 5 sec, having a reset time of 8 seconds ensures a sequence of FS, ES, ES, FS, ES, ES, ... It will either reset after the full sequence, or 8 seconds after having last clicked the macro, whichever happens first. I also made it so that it resets if you change target, so you can apply Flame Shock to multiple mobs for extra pain from the new Fire Nova. If you're fighting single mobs that die in less than ten seconds, you should not use Flame Shock.
Interrupting is done by pressing your favourite modifier key ([Alt]).

On [4] I have Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning:

The ';' is an 'else', meaning I cast Chain Lightning if I press a modifier key. I could also have done this in 2 lines, but wanted to show an 'else' construction. Obviously Chain Lightning should never be used on single targets.

I use a macro for my Spirit Wolves:

    #showtooltip Feral Spirit
    /cast [pet:Spirit Wolf] Spirit Walk
    /cast [nopet] Feral Spirit

This summons my Spirit Wolves if they aren't out yet ([nopet]). If they are ([pet:Spirit Wolf]), the wolves cast Spirit Walk (a shaman's sprint) on themselves and on me if I'm in range.

Lastly my world famous Bloodlust (Heroism) macro:

    /cast Bloodlust
    /ra BLOODLUST
    /in 40 /ra end-of-bloodlust

For some unknown reason the '/in xx' functionality on the last line was removed in Cataclysm, but the rest of the macro still works and announces in raid chat that you just cast BL. For parties, replace '/ra' with '/p'.
