If you ever need a quick pick-me-up, try this recipe for big, salty and brown chocolate balls. They are packed full of vitamins and good for you.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp cinnamon - 2 to 3 egg whites - 1/2 stick (2 oz) butter - 1 cup of flour - pinch of vanilla - 1/4 cup of dark chocolate (unsweetened) - 1/2 cup of brandy - 1 tbsp salt - sugar
Recipe
Melt the butter, stick it in a bowl together with the egg whites and cinnamon and stir with a wooden spoon. Mix in the flour and salt. Throw in sugar to taste (1 or 2 bags is probably too much) and add vanilla (just a pinch). Add the chocolate to the mix and stir until you have a nice, homogenous substance. Put this dough in the fridge for about an hour.
Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius (350 F) and grease up the cookie sheet; you don't want the balls to stick. Make egg-shaped balls of about 2 inch and put these on the cookie sheet. Let them bake in the oven for about half an hour. Let them cool off, just stick them in your mouth and suck 'em. They're packed full of vitamins and high in fiber. Enjoy!
