This Just In: Police Are Cannabis Noobs
Written by Rolf
Today in the Netherlands, of all places, the police confiscated a huge field of cannabis. The police received an anonymous tip and greedily acted upon it. The field counted over 47,000 plants and was worth 4.4 million euro.
Little did they know, the field was owned by the local university for research. They grew the hemp (which wasn't cannabis sativa, the good stuff) to experiment with its industrial usage, like making rope. They also had a permit for doing this and the police supposedly knew about this. Needless to tell you that the plants hardly contained any THC (tetra-hydracannabinol, the stuff that makes you go hmmm) and the entire field of almost 50,000 marihuana plants was actually worth nothing. Well, 2 years worth of research.
But even if the police hadn't knows whom it belonged to... The plants (before cut down) were 2.5-3 meters, while everyone knows 'real' cannabis plants are ~1 meter. Conclusion: the police are total noobs, dude.
