Wanted - Absolutely Ridiculous but Totally Awesome

Today I bought Wanted on DVD and I just finished watching it in my home cinema. Which reminds me, I could do an article about my beamer and its 100 inch projection. But anyway, I just saw Wanted starring Angelina Jolie, James McAvoy and lots of bullets.

I always thought McAvoy was a bit of a pussy, and he started out the movie playing one, but I must say he was convincingly transforming into a badass fighting machine through the course of the film. Who am I kidding. At the end of the movie he's still a pussy and they should have casted someone taller. Angelina played her default role as a cool chick. No frontal nudity, unfortunately, but I have this to share:

The story of Wanted is absolutely ridiculous. A fraternity of assassins gets killing orders from a loom. Yes, a big wooden structure that makes textile. The loom uses threads that skip a crossing to encode the cloth with binary ASCII code that forms the name of the fraternity's next target. They are dead serious about it, too.

So James McAvoy plays a pussy that knows his best friend performs maintenance on his girlfriend, but tolerates it. He is bullied by his boss, an obese female. Then he gets recruited by said fraternity and receives an unconventional training to prepare him to kill the man that killed his father.

That is basically the story and if that was it, you will agree that you shouldn't bother seeing the movie. But the action is totally awesome! Wesley (McAvoy's character) learns to curve bullets around Angelina's head and she teaches him to drive like there's no gravity. In short, Wanted is a fully action-packed movie that I certainly recommend seeing. For guys anyway.
