I could not agree more with the guy in this cartoon. Seriously, who cares about your meaningless life? Do you think random people, or even your closest friends care if you just arrived at work? Or that your shoe lace broke?

And yet, Twitter is immensely popular. I can see its use, or rather, entertainment value when celebrities twitter, a company like CNN tweeting the headlines. But individuals twittering about their every day life, thereby reducing the effectiveness of their irrelevant activities by a factor 3? No way. Watch this cartoon and see what I mean.
