Aliens and How Evil We Make Them Look
Written by Rolf
There are billions and billions of planets. Even more, but English is not my native language so I can't think of a bigger number from the top of my head right now. Gazillions isn't a real word, is it? If it was, there would be gazillions of planets. What are the odds that Earth is the only one with life? Slim to none, I would say. Do I believe in alien life forms? Sure.
But can they build flying objects, would they travel to earth or communicate extra-terrestrially? Unlikely. Do they look like us, are they evil and do they want to steal Earth for whatever selfish reason? Of course not.

Now everyone knows this is what aliens really look like. Right? Colorless, glistening skin which they probably don't want to expose to direct sunlight for too long at a time, huge eyes for better to see us with and lack of eye white for obvious reasons (right?). Aliens are always naked when they arrive, because their budget was completely depleted by the advanced alien technology they used to reach Earth and there was nothing left for decent clothing. This is common knowledge.
But Hollywood, the media and creative artists are trying to demonize aliens since we have known about their existence! Look at the following pictures and tell me if you would still welcome them if they landed in your backyard or on your balcony.

This is probably the most evil of them all. Unfortunately she is also the most (in)famous, as Hollywood made several movies with this model. I swear, though, this was computer-generated! Designed by HR Giger and directed by Ridley Scott, this is probably the worst case of anti-alien propaganda.

Almost as famous, is this alien. He is a tourist, a sportsman who came to Earth for the love of his sport: kicking ass. Not only was he clothed, but he had a nifty Knightrider watch with added functionality like Shadowmeld and Self-destruct. Don't leave home without a Self-destruct button! Preposterous how a guy from Austria could trick him into using it.
Less famous, but no less evil is the following concept art by various creative artists. I must admit they look very skillfully done. But still unrealistically evil, let alone unpractically built!

The last two I want to show you, are concepts of obviously lesser life forms. Personally, I think these (and specifically the 'brain spider') are the most realistic of all aliens on this page.
